They mention that 87% of developers aren't doing all they can be in regards to it because its not accessible to them. Zend also mention elsewhere that there are aound 5 million PHPs worldwide. Laravel have released a Virtualised development environment called Homestead. Providing a solid, reproducible and feature rich environment for your Laravel applications. We're working feverishly on our Laravel implementation, which will include full integration with Homestead as a base box, and Autopilots which should provide Granularly Managed Configurations, Automated Deployments, and seamless integration with the Pharaoh tools stack at other Inrastructure levels.
